Feedlot TECH is a ‘one-stop-shop’ to help you unlock the gate to your career in lot feeding. Feedlot TECH engages, challenges, and upskills. So, if you are ready to take the next step in your career, read on.

What is Feedlot TECH?

Feedlot TECH has been developed within the Feedlot Career Development and Training (FCDT) Project and designed to assist in attracting, retaining, and growing the capacity of the feedlot workforce.

The Australian Feedlot Sector Career Development and Training Strategy (2016) was developed out of an identified need to provide the industry with a clear career pathway for the attainment of skills through training, professional development and support. From this strategy, the FCDT Project was initiated by the Australian Lot Feeders’ Association (ALFA) in collaboration with Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA).

The Feedlot TECH platform provides current and future employees and employers of the Australian feedlot sector with specific training, resources and career pathway information.

ALFA and MLA acknowledge and thanks those individuals, feedlots and businesses who have assisted in the launch and development of Feedlot TECH.
