Student Bursary

ALFA Conference Student Bursary

This bursary supports university students to attend the ALFA Annual Industry Conference (BeefEx or SmartBeef). Students must be studying Agriculture or Livestock related subjects at an Australian university, be completing their final years of study and be interested in pursuing a career in the lot feeding industry.

Communicate Your Research (Student Competition)

Promoting excellence and scientific professionalism for the advancement of communication between tertiary institutions and the Australian cattle feedlot industry. This competition is for students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate tertiary education in a field related to the beef industry.

A biennial Competition & Award that strives for excellence in feedlot design and management. The competition is open to all NFAS accredited feedlots, of all sizes and family or corporate business operations.
