We have an opening for a Feeding Facility Hand to join our team in Southeast Queensland. This award-winning feeding facility, situated in the Darling Downs region spans approximately 400 hectares and is home to 9,000 cattle.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Feeding Facility Hand. You will play a crucial role in the day to day operations of the Feeding Facility. As a Feeding Facility hand your focus will be on promoting the health, safety and welfare of the cattle, the team and environment.
Key responsibilities include
Handling and monitoring livestock using calm low stress methods
Data input and record keeping
Assisting with mustering and cattle movements
Water trough and feed bunk cleaning and maintenance
Preparing and mixing feed rations
Assist with land management practices
General upkeep, repairs and maintenance
Minor machinery operation
Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong communication skills
Be able to work on your own, and as part of the team, with a focus on completing your quality work safely
Experience with stockade is desirable
A current driver’s license is essential.
Demonstrated experience working with livestock
Passion for agriculture and farming and an enthusiasm to learn more
