We have an opening for a Livestock Hand to join our team in northern New South Wales. This award-winning feeding facility, situated in the Shire of Inverell spans approximately 1,335 hectares and is home to 10,000 cattle.

About the Role
Reporting to the Livestock Supervisor, the successful applicant will contribute to the livestock program with their skills and experience in the following areas:
Handling and monitoring livestock using best practice in animal welfare
Data input and record keeping, experience with StockAid programs is beneficial
Good horse-riding skills required
Assisting with mustering and cattle movements using horses
Water trough cleaning and maintenance
General upkeep, repairs and maintenance.
Minor machinery operation
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong communication skills
Be able to work on your own, and as part of the team, with a focus on completing your quality work safely.
A current driver’s license is essential.
You need to provide your own working horses, who will be stabled, fed and shod as part of your package.
