PEN RIDER/ LIVESTOCK HAND
Gundamain Pastoral Co is currently seeking to fulfil a full-time livestock hand position. This is the position for you if you have an interest in cattle. Gundamain is a family-owned agricultural business in Eugowra, Central West NSW. Gundamain consists of a 6000 head licensed cattle feedlot, with farming land for background cattle, prime lamb production, cropping and an Angus breeding herd.
Gundamain is seeking a livestock hand who has a passion for cattle and their health. The role includes inducting cattle, exiting cattle, moving cattle as needed, treating sick cattle and other general maintenance work.
We provide:
• On the job training
• Monday- Friday roster, one weekend worked a month with four days off the following week
• Ability to enrol in Certificate III in Feedlot operations (if requested)
• Accommodation (if required)

We require you to:
• Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Work well in a team
• Have a strong animal welfare ethic for cattle
• Have sound riding skills
