Senior Farmhand/Operator

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand and agricultural plant operator for a permanent position on their mixed cropping and sheep enterprise in NW Victoria. You must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia or New Zealand to be considered for the role. No visa sponsorship available. 
Duties include:

Operation of all arable farm machinery eg. Various Case and JD tractors, JD616R sprayrigs, 60ft air seeders, JD s690 headers, MacDon windrowers, square balers, telehandlers and front-end loaders etc.
On farm or local truck driving (HC or MC licence advantageous)
Maintenance of farm machinery and equipment
Hay and straw baling, stacking and transporting
Possible stock work when required eg. All aspects of sheep breeding for wool and fat lamb operations
Adhere to Company OH&S protocols and procedures
Ability to work in a team
 
We require:

Proven broadacre farming experience – minimum 5 years
Strong farm machinery operations and maintenance background
Experience with calibration of sprayers and air seeders and the use of GPS systems
Reliability and proven work ethic
Proficiency in welding
Maintenance and mechanical ability
HC/MC licence advantageous
Agricultural qualifications are desirable
